Morgan Beach serves as the director of public affairs for the Pet Food Institute (PFI). In her role, Morgan oversees state policy efforts and directs the state affairs team. Morgan also manages external relations and stakeholder relationships for PFI, building bridges with key stakeholders on issues important to pet food manufacturers.
Prior to her current role, Morgan served as PFI’s director of government relations where she managed federal policy efforts serving as the federal lobbyist and managing the Pet Food Institute Pet PAC.
Morgan began her career in Washington as the legislative research assistant for U.S. Representative David Valadao, handling agriculture issues. She also worked for the Farm Credit Council, where she assisted the CEO and legislative team. Prior to joining PFI, Morgan served as the trade policy manager for the National Milk Producers Federation and the U.S. Dairy Export Council, where she utilized her farm background and experience in the economic and legislative spaces to advocate for U.S. dairy producers’ trade priorities.
Morgan earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In her spare time, she volunteers with Agriculture Future of America (AFA) and assists with hosting the Women in Agriculture (Waggies) networking group in Washington, D.C.
