Membership Categories
Membership in PFI is determined by the type of business you conduct within the pet food or adjacent industries.
Producer Member
- Manufactures commercially prepared dog and/or cat food and/or treats in the U.S.
- Follow a strict Code of Practice as a commitment to responsibility and integrity.
Associate Member
- Supplies goods or services to support production of dog and/or cat food and/or treats.
- Markets and distributes commercially produced dog and/or cat food and/or treats within the U.S. under your own name or trade name for sale in retail outlets, but aren’t primarily in the business of selling goods directly to consumers.
